I’m asked very often what camera I use, what lenses and how I edit my pictures, so here is everything you need to know.
We’ll start with the gear. I’m a firm believer of making use of what you’ve got so don’t feel like you have to buy the camera I have to get exactly the same result. Having your own style will go a long way.
Main camera – Panasonic GM1 with 20mm f/1.7 lens
I’ve been using the Panasonic GM1 as my main camera for the past few years now and it still holds up incredibly well. Main reason I have it is due to its size and compactness. The Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 accompanies it very well because it’s a small pancake lens.
However it looks like the GM1 isn’t available at most major retailers so a great alternative is the Panasonic GX850 or GX800 depending on country.
I mainly use VSCO to edit all of my pictures — 99% of the pics on my Instagram have been edited with VSCO. I may sometimes use Lightroom but that’s usually for images I want to heavily manipulate.
I go into much more detail about my camera gear, why I chose my camera and lens, the way I set up shots, lighting, effects and how I edit my pictures in my eBook. I cover as much as you’ll need to know and how to achieve exactly the same results as me. Check it out.
